Perrin713
So... i have a SPT intake in my car. Have read all the threads on them how people like em and hate em. I plan on purchasing a Magnaflow exhaust soon and was wondering if my car would need to be tuned with the install of the exhaust? Or should i just rip the SPT intake off and throw the OEM one back on.....
KurtP
cat back exhaust no tune required. If you are going to leave the spt intake on, I would tune it, enough people have issues with them I would do it.....some tuners say they can iron out most of the issue it creates, its just a pita from what i gather. shrug. others with more experience to follow. CasopoliS
Or should i just rip the SPT intake off and throw the OEM one back on..... Yes you should. You don't need a tune for CBE per-se.... downpipe, yes. You need a tune for intakes too.

05lgt5spd
I wouldnt even run an spt, I hear they are really difficult to tune. Just take it off, pocket some some money, and put a drop in panel filter on there
