Coin holder separated from its door

Recommended Posts

I have a 2009 Legacy and the coin holder cup has come separated from the door (panel) that is pushed to access it and the power outlet. It floats freely now. Any suggestions on how to fix? It doesn't seem to just snap right back in place.

Thanks in advance

Take it apart and determine what broke, then repair it?

Mine is separate too, take some of the change out, it will be fine. Its all about gravity

That sounds right to me too (although I can't confirm unless I looked at the car). I was not sure what to do with my coins as that isn't big enough so I just take them out of my car everyday-I don't spend them as much which makes it a "savings account" in a way cause I wait until the empty 1.75 L of Jack Daniels is full before cashing it in:eek:

That is where my audio AUX input is located as I did the blank CD mod...works great and keeps everything looking stock.

Rao - I was literally about to write in the same thing. It's not a coin holder, it's an ash-tray used as a coin holder.

I literally though there was a built-in coin holder somewhere on my car that I had been missing :)

Apparently there's a cat in the engine bay...so who knows what's possible :)
