GEE-OTTO
Recently bought new components for a custom exhaust setup and while looking for some magnaflows I came across a site that sells universal Twin Loop mufflers with 2.5" inlets and I think 3" outlets that flare to 4". Not to worried about the in/outs. So I search youtube for a clip found several only on Hondas and they produce a surprisingly deep tone ( relative to the typical civic sound) My question is has anyone every had any experiences with these types of mufflers? I would think our EJ25's would do them more justice than a b18. This is only a thought I have my eyes set on MagnaFlows but I am willing to try anything twice http://www.nordicautoimport.com/ekmps/shops/nordicautoimp/images/eclipse_exhaust_301%5Bekm%5D300x300%5Bekm%5D.jpg Here is a picture I kinda of like the different design
coxx
seems to me like you're just putting an obstruction in there but maybe I don't understand it "Barack Obama, mothaf#%@a! Barack Obama! I'm the president...of hittin' the ass!" -this is not a political view it's merely a quote from a hilarious tv show.

Guest JessterCPA
I think Mugen came up with the original Honda loop exhaust setup. Whatever the case, it's still goofy.

Guest JessterCPA
I think in theory, for a Honda the loop type exhaust is valid. Not sure about a knock-off brand, but the Mugen had lots of research behind it.

LittleBlueGT
Did I say something wrong? No, just other people talking about stuff they don't really know about. This style of muffler can allow a longer path through a muffler while still keeping a fairly short muffler. Not all that different from many mufflers, just most have the pipe on the inside. But something I do remember is that Mugen tuned the length of that loop to provide some degree of noise cancellation with effectively zero restriction. I think it has the ability work very very well. but it would likely need be tuned specifically for our 2.5 liters.
