teK--
Has anyone fabricated a cover for their battery, or more specifically a cover to insulate the positive terminal? I basically upgraded my battery to a larger one and had to get new terminals so that the factory leads could bolt onto them. The issue is that the stock plastic positive terminal cover does not fit over the new terminal, and as such it is now exposed (see pic). I was thinking either acrylic sheet but I'd have to find a shop to sell me some scrap pieces as I am not going to need a huge sheet from a plastics supplier. Even then I would need to property heat and bend it to shape. I have heard of PETG plastic sheeting which can be bent in vice with no heating, but again i would have to find scrap pieces somehow. Short of spending mega bucks on a bling carbon cover that goes over the whole battery and washer bottle filler neck, has anyone else here done something similar??? CDN 2.5i
I'm interested in a non-carbon version of the battery/washer bottle cover if there's one available... Not sure if there's a JDM plastic piece available...
Aczwild
http://rallitek.com/jdmenco.html JDM'd All to hell Thanks Jimmy @ Hkc-Speed.com! RIP Coxx & Thanks
CDN 2.5i
Thanks Aczwild, exactly what I was looking for. However, at that price, I think it's better to go with the Stanza CF units HKC-Speed has... they're only $5 more at $155 shipped...

CDN 2.5i
http://www.avojdm.com/product_info.php?products_id=118 Where I got mine from. Nicer price, but maybe presumably shipping is higher... Do you remember what you paid for shipping? Was there brokerage or duty involved?
teK--
JDM cover costs too much. I Just had a cover for the positive terminal made out of perspex for next to nothing:
Windy Road
Nicer price, but maybe presumably shipping is higher... Do you remember what you paid for shipping? Was there brokerage or duty involved? About $160 shipped. Little steep, so it might be cheaper on Rallitek. 276hp/347tq On a DynoJet Dyno Video - Had a big lean spot as you can tell in the second pull
