BlackLake autocross July 18-19th Laurens SC

http://www.scsportscar.com/blacklake/20090718_bl_flyer.pngRegistration is open for the Fairway Subaru/Folger Subaru "Black Lake Shootout," July 18-19 at the Michelin Proving Grounds in Laurens, SC. For those of you have never run at the "Black Lake," it's 1400 ft x 400 ft of perfectly smooth, flat, obstacle-free asphalt - in short, one of the best autocross sites in the southeast.

 

The "Black Lake Shootout" is a two-day event, jointly hosted by Central Carolinas Region SCCA and South Carolina Region SCCA.

 

Entry fees are $55 for SCCA Members, and $75 for Non-Members (advance payment; $5 charge for on-site payment).Advance registration is REQUIRED for this event, due to an expected turnout of over 200 cars.

 

There is a mail-in registration form in the supplementary regulations, for anyone who cannot register online.

Mail-in entries must be received by July 8.

I'm sorry this is late notice guys and girls, but if you ever want to run a autocross that is as close to the size of a National event then the Michelin test facility is the place to go.

Sweet finally another Legacy, besides the Boxer 4 / Subarupartspro/ Red Genie 2.5GT of Dave McKenzie

 

I don't think I'll be able to do any running though... I haven't done any yet but my tires are down to the wear bars and i have no helmet :spin:. I really want to try it though....

 

I'll bring my slr and video camera.
