Anybody have the Subi sub? Install on Nav car?

Recommended Posts

Anybody have the Subi subwoofer installed? Is it worth it? I burned a CD of MP3's and actually finally turned on the "SRS" today and I'm pretty impressed even without the sub.

I looked at the install directions for the sub, and it shows it going under the drivers seat, but since I have the nav unit, mine would have to go under the passenger seat..... anyone dealt with that yet?

Ooops, I should have put this in interior/audio. I'm posting it there now, but don't see where I could have moved this or that I can delete it. Could a mod delete it please?

It goes under the passenger seat just fine, at least in an '06.

Fit under my passenger's seat fine. You just have to bend the sub bracket to make it fit. I also re-drilled the mounting holes in the bracket so I could rotate the sub in the direction that I wanted so I could access the adjustment knobs.

I had it for awhile. Def fills in some and helps with the overall sound. You can also turn down the Bass to the fronts to lower distortion. Worth it if you don't crave pounding Bass. It may be better to just get a LOC (line output converter) and put a small self amplified sub in the rear (Infinity basslink, Bazooka etc) .
