RedAce
I am looking to upgrade my exhaust system from the stock exhaust. I am not sure about what parts I would need and was wondering if anyone could help me out? So far I have purchased a Borla header. I have the DOHC 2.5 litre non-turbo... From looking under the car it appears that I would need some sort of mid pipe and a catback as well? When I say mid pipe I am talking about the two cats forward of the catback and behind the header (which I would like to elimniate). Does anyone know what types of catbacks would fit? Or if it would be easier in the longrun to just build my own using a Borla muffler? Any help would be very much appreciated! Thank You.
eekay
I had the same setup before I installed by turbo. Borla headers are great but I was never able to find a cat-back from a reliable manufacturer. I ended up just having my cat-back custom done at a local muffler shop. The car sounds great and you can choose any muffler you want (if you even want one?) which is nice. If you can find a decent cat-back exhaust, please let me know. My 9.3 cups EJ22 makes me feel like my **** is 2.8 decimeters!
