05Limited
Will it work? I've done an sti swap, I'll now be running a 16g with an STi tmic, sti manifold, etc. I've heard the maf housing is different from STi>LGT, but is this something that is only an issue without tuning? The car is going to get retuned anyway - will it be an issue? Discuss.
Bolksey85
I think it would. It's not like it has to run down through the bumper or anything like a true cold air. But it's still not gonna be worth it, FYI. It'll be easier to tune and probably cheaper if you buy an OEM airbox off of NASIOC. And to go OT, why a 16G? 05Limited
I've still got my stock airbox - I just sold my AEM CAI. I'm going down to the 16g from a 20g, my oil pickup snapped off and my bearings/crank are toast. I'm having to sell my parts to fix the car (I had already built the motor when it popped from too much power) I got a good deal on the 16g - otherwise I would've gone for a vfxx
