westy66
i purchased a HID kit last year and it seemed fine for a few months, but for the last few months on side will never fire up on the first try. i always turn them on after i start the car. if i turn the lights off then on again the affected side will ALWAYS come on. im sure its a voltage issue as these kits should not be problematic and the issue is so specific. do the xenon experts have any suggestions for adding a relay? or possibly wiring them differently outside of the stock system? for reference, its a hidconcept 4300k Phillips kit with the harness: http://www.hidconcept.com/Kits-PhilipHella-4300K.html thanks Bob

Ryandigi
I just had Alaskjoel (member on here) sale me his VOLTs and he had that issue. I have that issue as well and it turns out it is a bad ground. He fixed it by finding a better ground. Hopefully he finds this thread and speaks up....or I might just call him for some more info
MiniStiGuy
I run my HID's off of a harness and have had them in for 2 years + with no problems. Get or make yourself a harness and you'll be good to go. You can pick up the relay at Radio Shack and if you want I'll even put the part number up tomorrow for you for the relay.
