devobuzz
Anyone smoked their tail lights with Lamin-X gunsmoke in NJ? Any trouble from the cops or passing inspection? (Notice how I didn't use the word "tint" anywhere? heh heh heh)
jerseyglock
I'm pretty sure you will NOT pass state-operated inspection station. You can private route. I didn't reconnect my DRL and lucked out when I went for my renew. They had me down as Impreza wagon, lmao.
THE RZA
I used the lamin-x smoked tails, i haven't had any issues at all, to be honest smoked is the best shade to go with because your lights are still visible and it makes them look much more suddle, are you doing ones with the cutouts or fully covered

devobuzz
Fully covered but I was thinking of going 1 shade lighter - instead of the smoke using gunsmoke. I think state inspection may be more of a problem then the cops though.

G.T.Subie
I ran these for 3+ years no issuse from cops. I did need to replace them because I failed to wax or seal them the first time and the started to fade and crack.
