Colourfyre
Hi, my window wipers are just all ova the place. They park in random positions all the time (on every stroke). Its really annoying because if they park high up the windscreen, on the next stroke they wipe outside the windscreen. Has anyone got any suggestions to fix this annoying problem? Thanks CF
eekay
In all honesty, this sounds like loose wiper nuts... Just to be sure, grab a wrench (Whatever type you want, any will work as long as it is the correct size) and make sure they are tight. Of course, position them correctly before you tighten them. Also, check to see if the little "slider" bolts that hold the blades are stripped in any way. My 9.3 cups EJ22 makes me feel like my **** is 2.8 decimeters! Colourfyre
lol, awol was just the first expression that came to mind:) I have checked that the wipers are tight on there shafts and that the teeth that prevent them turning all over the place are not damaged. If i take both blades off the windscreen there is about 10 degrees of completely free turning, so they sort of flap round a bit. Its like the motor/gearbox is worn badly or something. I have already tried moving them on the toothed shafts (taking them off and repositioning) but the park position is quite random, so most of the time its off but there is the odd time that they work correctly. Thanks for the suggestions CF
