Stock GT Calipers?

LowFast

Recommended Posts

Now that I have the Wilwoods on I plan to sell off my stock GT front calipers and f/r rotors with lines as a set. Anyone have an idea what they would be worth. The rotors and calipers are in great shape (although I wouldl probably turn the rotors just to be on the safe side, but they have plenty of life left in them) I know that if you bought all parts new you are looking at about $900.00. Any ideas what they are worth used? Once I can determine a price I will post them up for sale.

I've seen a bunch of caliper sets for sale recently (here, e-bay, and other sites) in the $200 range. Used rotors don't add any value.

You can buy reman parts for under $300.

What's the mileage on them? I would think you could get 50%, maybe more (lots of sets sold on here so you can see what the going price is). Depends on how fast you want to unload. If they're in really good shape, I'd go $400 for the whole set and see if you get bites...good points made above though...maybe more like 300 unless the rotors are primo (e.g. just a few thousand miles).

I wouldn't turn them personally unless they were really badly grooved...I'd let the buyer decide if they want to take material off or not.

Sounds like both the 2.5i guys and possibly WRX (can't remember what they fit) have interest. You may want to post here and over at NASIOC (check there for prices too).

He is only selling the fronts. Reman'd fronts are only $300... and they are effectively new... with pads.
