SiL Outback LTD
You can't see them unless you lay under the car or peer under it. They are black but showed almost silver in those dusty garage pics. Read more of the thread, I said I wanted to switch those out, I just need to head to Tacoma Screw (a great source for nuts, bolts, and ect. in the seattle area.) and find some clean looking ones. But trust me I'm not in love with them either. Thanks for looking. Here's a quick pic of the tires, 225-55-r17's. Makes me wish I could find a set of 18's with a similar look. http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f170/Carolynsoccer/IMGP4255.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f170/Carolynsoccer/IMGP4256.jpg windows tinted TUESDAY!!! SiL Outback LTD
Added brush gaurd for the cascade loop run. I ended up going on some logging roads with the beast and her new tires. Freaking love the ground clearance. I felt unstoppable going through creek beds and ect. Soon to add a camping rack, rally armor flaps, the Zerosports n1 panel air filter for BP5 is installed, just waiting for the tube to arrive. Tint is postponed because of work, I will hopefully have it done by the end of the month. Thanks for checking back. http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f170/Carolynsoccer/590687139_qJEQf-M.jpg
D_J
Yeah I really like the added height compared to my old legacy for going on unpaved roads or rocks...plus the suspension is well suited for that. It is kind of bouncy on the city roads but it can handle potholes or go off-road superb. Are you getting the box grid style rack?
SiL Outback LTD
Yeah with the red netting. I actually saw a yakima one on top of an A4Wagon, it had sidewalls all around instead of the grid on the sides. Then it had a grid on top of the box that was about half the size of the sidewalls. I need to google it still to find the brand. I think I want to upgrade to the round bars and get that other type of rack. Paint it a gloss black and add some Red subaru logo. Something like that... SiL Outback LTD
I found a sweet older Impreza in portland, so I think I'm going to be selling the wagon. Keep your eye on the FS: threads. We just bought a home in March and it's in my best interest to lower my debt and downgrade a bit. I love the wagon, if it were an XT I would be keeping it. Thanks everyone for looking, its not final yet but its an 80% that the wagon will be sold. edit: It IS for sale http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1823473
