SiL Outback LTD
So I've been working with EAT motorsports in kirkland, Wa. Anthonys come up with a nice simple build to start on my 2.5i Outback limted. I'm going to be starting with an na zerosports intake, zerosports rear sway bar, zerosports hoses, oil cap, rally armor flaps, tint, and when the money is right coilovers. Even after my noob comments about not lowering an outback, I feel I must do it now-the wideness of the wagon fenders will just be too damn sexy to not lower it. I've got some other plans for the motor, simple stuff nothing major. Also I'd like to do an LED lighting kit for all the interior lights-as well as the doors and license plate. I will update as I add to the list, but I'm planning on keeping this one simple. My GF will be getting a legacy sedan in the next 2 or 3 years so we can have the nice NA build for me, and do a simple and clean turbo build in the future. december 08: http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f170/Carolynsoccer/IMGP3419.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f170/Carolynsoccer/IMGP3420.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f170/Carolynsoccer/snowwagon.jpg cleared the headlights added 17" LGT wheels from my old Impreza: http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f170/Carolynsoccer/IMGP3589.jpg smoked the headlights and added rockblocker to the fogs in yellow: http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f170/Carolynsoccer/IMGP3592.jpg decided I wanted to start doing suspension mods after the drive out to the ocean: http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f170/Carolynsoccer/WAGON03041208.jpg added rear diffuser from my GC: http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f170/Carolynsoccer/IMGP3960.jpg removed the rack for the summer and added some sti tires RE070 potenza's: http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f170/Carolynsoccer/IMGP3958.jpg

PiKap335
I would definitely lower it a bit & close the wheel gap if you're going to keep running those tires. Otherwise it looks great!
SiL Outback LTD
Yeah I'm looking at what options I have for lowering. I also want a wider wheel or spacers so the LGT wheels dont have that tucked look anymore. If I can find a rim thats similar I'd go with that I just like the simple 5 spoke look though. I can try and get some more pics of the rear diffuser but it's the rear roof vortex generator for a 93-01 impreza. I just flipped it upside down and backwards and bolted up up between the mufflers. SiL Outback LTD
http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f170/Carolynsoccer/IMGP4013.jpg It is a part for a 93-01 Impreza 2.5RS/WRX. If you search ebay for "93-01 Subaru Impreza GC Roof Vortex generator", you should find one. All I did was flip it upside down and backwards then placed it between the muffler tips. SiL Outback LTD
Yeah I can try and do it in the next couple of days, I've got some freelance work I gotta get done for a client. My mounting job isn't the best I just used the only black screws I had in my toolbox, I'd like to replace it with some nicer bolts, washers and nuts. natoli4
rodger....I think a nice set of washers and bolts would help firm things up a bit.
RyanPDX
Any chance of getting a rear view of the car from further away to see what the diffuser looks like with the rest of the back end? Thanks.
D_J
Props for you figuring-out the diffuser fits our OB. Gives it a road warrior mean look and probably prevents tailgaters I bet. What is the zerosports intake for 2.5 na? Never knew they made one for our low budget engines. Part # / link ???
SiL Outback LTD
First of all, sorry for being lame about putting up more pics. I guess I kinda want to be the only one with this mod But I won't be greedy I swear after I wash the car I will put up some better pics. As for the intake, contact EATMOTORSPORTS.COM the NA legacy intake fits the outback. You can go just filter, replace the plastic tube with a polished stainless one, and finally the cone. You can do the first, the first and second, or all three. (if that makes sense.) I don't have my build sheet handy. I can put the part# up when I take more pics and add them. D_J
Ok I found the thread that shows it...there are several other threads that talk about error codes, running too lean. It looks like if you go the low-tech route with panel filter and this pipe, you shouldn't have any issues. This is the one you bought? Do you run lean or need a tune? Not bad for $150. http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=110457
SiL Outback LTD
yeah thats the one. Can't say just yet I have yet to purchase it. The sheet they put together for me was a wish list. I'm going to slowly pick up parts as I can afford them. Stupid mortgage...haha
SiL Outback LTD
Went in for my ECM software upgrade from SOA and I drove a 2005 LGT, wow! Makes me maybe want to switch it up. But damn I love the wagon too. Lotsa thinking to do.. Put some bigger tires on the wagon, fell back in love with it for sure. 225/55/r17's:
