djkxgo0k
so after i installed my tein s-techs, i noticed that it's a way stiffer ride. but i also noticed that when i hit bumps, the car feels extremely bouncy. would upgrading the struts fix this? goneskiian
Nope. Getting your struts off the bump stops would though. Seriously though, S-techs have THE biggest drop in springs you can get for this car (I'm pretty sure). So much so that you are mostly riding on your bump stops. Read up on what some suspension experts have found (search on the user name RaceComp Engineering) and they'll tell you these cars are pretty limited in suspension travel to begin with. Cheers! jamal
s-techs are the worst.
Buru
NO the struts are not the problem. You took too much travel out of the system!!! to do what you want you need to do coil overs. (Tarmac 1's rock) I am all the way down and still feels grea 95% of the time.
Levish
my tarmac1's were incredibly bouncy for a week until they settled. excellent since /shrug give it a week?
whitetiger
S-TECHS are too soft for the drop they give. pair that with the weak stock struts and you got lots of bounce.
wcbjr
Yep, I've had S-Techs. Too bouncy. I went the other way and got Megan coilovers, now too stiff of a spring. But I'd rather it the way it is now. I forgot what I was supposed to remember.
