Date: Saturday, May 9, 2009 Time: 11am to 8pm Location: Mach V World Headquarters If you've been to one of our open house events before, you know what you're in for. Oh, except for the band. More on that later. And yes, we'll be having dyno pulls that day. (<--Click for details.) For those of you who have NOT been to one of our Open House days, here's what you can expect... http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y249/danhurwitz/Events/Summer%202008%20Open%20House/Summer2008OpenHouse109.jpg The schedule: 11am: Mother's Day Meltdown event begins 12 noon: Lunch is served. 2 pm: Lunch over. 12 noon - 3 pm: Live music. Drawings for free stuff every hour. Meet and greet your fellow Subaru enthusiasts. 3pm - 8 pm: Dyno pulls. 40-minute slots. 8pm: Mother's Day Meltdown over. We all go home, tired and happy. The showroom will be open the whole time for your shopping pleasure. There will be special Mother's Day Meltdown discounts on parts. Food: We're ditching our previous procedure of Bring Your Own Food. Instead, it'll be Bring Your Own Dollars, and you can buy a burger, chips, and a drink for a few bucks. (Figure $2 for a burger with free chips, and $1 for a canned drink.) Music: We're gonna have a band. I don't know exactly what form this will take, what band it's going to be, or for how long they'll play before the cops come. . But we'll have music because that's what I want to do. PM me if you have a band and are interested in playing. This will pay...well, close to nothing. But hey, you'll have the undying adoration of the entire MAIC community, and that's priceless. Dyno pulls: 3pm until 8pm, in 40-minute pre-assigned slots. You must CALL (not PM, not email, but CALL the shop) to sign up. See this other thread for pricing and schedule. Other services: We'll have paintless dent removal and Venture Shield (clear bra) protective film installation available during the event. Get in touch with me if you'd like to take advantage of either of these. This event will happen rain or shine. We've got a big shop, you can all fit inside if it's raining.
