Pricci09
Just wondering the effects of being cobb stage 1 and having an spt intake or high flow filter on insted of the stock air box...how much less effective would the flash be? any negitive effects aside from performace loss? thanks guys
youknowit
Well, its says that cobb stages 1 map should only be used with a stock intake. So if anything it's not going to help unless you get an e-tune or a dyno tune. I dont know of any performance loss but it could run lean which is a no no
johnAWD
Stick with the stock airbox.
Spec B
^^+1 IMO I think stage 1 with a drop in filter is fine. It will change your maf scaling a bit, and might cause a slight loss (or gain, who knows) in performance, I do not think it will be dangerous. The SPT intake is notorious for causing unstable Maf readings...do not get it.
