mwiener2
Has anyone done the TinyWRX launch control patch? If so, how was the setup and the results? My Mods List (Updated 8/22/17) 2005 Outback FMT Running on Electrons
Legacy_GT_Pilot
Just added it tonight. It's relatively easy to set-up, I just haven't had a good chance to test the results yet. The one time I tried it the rpms held great, my car just wasn't building any boost.

Legacy_GT_Pilot
I will be playing with LC tomorrow and will do a few logs. It's likely that using the feature will put me in some previously unused and untuned areas of my timing table, and as a result I will likely need to back some timing out. I will keep people posted. Legacy_GT_Pilot
Simplistically speaking, that's accurate. Once the patch is added, you set your new rev limits and flash the ROM to the car. Log and tweak timing or the settings as needed to dial things in. I just glanced at the instructions, but does it go like this.... Pull map from car use some software to do something to the pulled map put the map back on car. sound right?
Legend
Legend did this and I believe did not like the results. Edit: Found it. Actually the LC seemed promising based on data logs, but I never launched. It was the FFS that either felt great or scared the crap out of me.
