BAC5.2
1400 miles. Since I got it, when slowing in neutral (like coming to a stop light at 10mph or so), the revs would drop to ~500 and the car would shudder like it was about to stall out. It didn't happen religiously, but it happened often enough to bother me. Yesterday, however, it DID stall out... twice. Going to the dealer on Friday morning to get it all checked out. Another anomaly happened today after idling for 20 minutes or so. I went to move and the VDC and ABS lights came on. Turned the car off and back on and the lights went away. All in my 09 Outback 2.5i Special Edition. All very strange. Our 09 Impreza, within 400 miles had a TERRIBLE rattle in the rear view mirror (auto-dim). So far, while this 09 has quality far beyond all of my more recent Subaru's, I've yet to have one that has truly eclipsed the quality of my 94 Japan Built Legacy. Opie
Are you sure you '94 was built in Japan? Subaru has been building the Legacy in the U.S. since 1989 starting with the 1990 Model. The only Japan built Legacy's to come to the U.S. were the right hand drive models and the '91-'94 turbo models.

And no, those aren't fog lights in the second pic . Took it to the dealer today. "Reflashed the ECU". Along the way, the radio began randomly lowering in volume, then coming back up. A new faceplate is on the way and will be swapped out next Friday. Bummer, but we'll see. **Note** My Legacy actually was converted to RWD in the above pic. No center-diff destruction was taking place.
