DuckFan
Hey All- My ride is a 06 Legacy 3.0R VDC Limited. Stock tire size is 225/55R17. Since this is a uncommon size in that not a lot of manufacturers make this size in the Performance All Season arena, has any one put 235/55R17's on the Outback? I know they are roughly .6" wider and with the fender clearance of the Outback, do not anticpate compatability issues. I think I answered my own question and the 235 will alter my Speedo. Any Outbacks divers on the Eagle GT's? Just curious. Jared in Portland OR
OBieXT
I did that. TireRack had some Pirelli P-Zero-Neros on sale for a killer price. Think they were an OEM size for Mustangs with a custom tread that they were closing out. Worked fine. I did the math and the speedo diff comes out to be around 1/2 mile/hr, which actually put it closer to true speed according to my GPS. Did notice a decrease in fuel mileage of about 1 mpg though.
