Impulse
so my car got hit recently and they're replacing my bumper. hopefully it has no holes and i was thinking about mounting it in a way that least affects wind flow. i came across this video on youtube that shows someone making a collapsing license plate that stands up again after the car slows down. I made something similar to this but with the plate mounted on the top part of the bumper. unfortunately mine was spring loaded and the spring quickly rusted out [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ToINfqwH4es]YouTube - S2000 folding license plate[/ame] a few bolts, a hinge, a bracket and some weights? rice_rocket
What.. do you think you have a FMIC in there that you need every last bit of air? Seriously though.. waste of your time! You aren't going to magically gain any HP or cooling more than you need. The chances your plate is going to get messed up, rusted down or what-not is not worth the effort.
