Brighton99v
On my 99 brighton leg 2.2/ EJ22 motor ; front of motor, on top, just behind the drive belt, (standing in front of car) slightly left of center, just in front of the engine I.D. stamp (EJ22) looks like a bolt , its 24 mm, it has a two wire metal, "L" shaped connector right on top. It appears to be leaking a little oil. WHAT IS IT?!? AND WHAT DOES IT DO?!?

jamal
yep. are you sure it's leaking from there and not the power steering? Having that leak is pretty rare unless someone messed with it.
BAC5.2
Crank position sensor. Isn't the oil pressure switch on the back of the motor? It's been a REALLY long time since I played with an EJ22. It does look like a sort of pressure switch though, know that it has been mentioned.
