Jschenen
Hi everyone, I know i posted this in the tri-state specific already, but I only got one response and I know there are a lot of people from Rochester, NY on here! I was just hoping to get some advice as to which dealers have good service departments that I can take my car to for basic maintenance when I move there this fall. Or if the dealers are garbage any good local service shops? Thanks! Jesse
raloi
It depends on what you a looking to get done .... I've gone to Doyle Subaru in Webster a few times, they seem ok.

Ryan T.
Van Bortel Subaru is where many of us buy/service our cars. They're a "no haggle" dealership who is the #2 Scooby dealer in the nation. Their accessory prices and service prices I've found to be better the Doyle or Spurr, but they are a hike if you're living on the West side. tondraj
If they're a no haggle dealership, what's the average amount they give you off list? I live in Buffalo and will probably be buying a Legacy in the next 6 months.
silverspeed
I test drove a LGT there. It was a good amount more expensive than others I looked at just like it. I drove an hour to see it because I figured it would be spotless. The interior was gross, and all scratched up. It looked like a small dog lived in it for years. The leather on the steering wheel had almost completely fallen off and they wouldn't haggle at all. I held the bare wheel to test drive it. I have heard good things about them, but I'll never go back.

This is where I got mine, I've done some service there as well but have started doing more and more of it myself.
