Trouble with AVO LCA install

First of all; I have to thank Jeremy over at Fred Beans for hooking me up with good pricing and fast shipping as always.

But this weekend I tried to install my new AVO LCA's and immediately ran into a problem. The first bolt you are to remove won't budge. I tried thread penetrant but nothing. Hit it a few times and gave it over an hour but still nothing. The box end wrench I was using was starting to round the corners so I stopped and tried to figure out another way to get at these but there isn't much clearance due to the subframe. Can anyone comment on how they got theirs off? Or should I just keep hitting the points with penetrant all week and try again this weekend?

By the way; while I was waiting for the penetrant to work I decided to install the front end links I got from Fred beans. All I can do is curse teh damn salt spreaders around here since I needed to cut the stockers off, the allen head was too corroded. But the AVO endlinks did a nice job of tightening up the car a bit. Didn't realize how worn the stockers were.

Is there room to fit an impact wrench in there? How about a regular socket with a pipe or a breaker bar?

In my experience (on rusted parts, thank you salt trucks...), box end wrenches don't work well for stubborn parts. You have to use a socket and an impact wrench or socket and wratchet with breaker bar. Impact wrench first if you can fit it in though; haven't met a nut I couldn't break loose with it.

Could you tell me how thick the washers are that are supplied for the 08 WRX/STi fitment?

I had (4) in my box that were teh following thickness'

0.0580, 0.565, 0.1065 and 0.1425

As for the bolt it was the first one I tried...drivers side nut on forward bushing. I keep jacking the car up after work and hitting all the points with penetrating liquid to hopefully get them managable...I guess I will find out in the next week or so if that was succesful.

I would and might still but between this stupid bolt pissing me off and a bunch of people being show the door at work has me trying to conserve cash where possible. Though like I said if this nut/bolt gets the best of me I will definitely be in touch.
