Interior Tint Spray

So I got this crazy idea. I've been wanting to change the color of of both the center overhead light as well as the lower lights in both the driver side and passenger side doors.

I wanted to change them red to both match the overall interior car lighting as well as make them more ambient. I wanted the easiest yet most effective way of doing this when I cam across these.

I was wondering if anyone has used these sprays either in the interior or exterior. I don't know if it would chip off easy or look like crap. I just hate the white lights in the car. too bright.

You can get red LEDs off of this website for your dome, map, and puddle lights. Crappy spray on tint is more irreversible than just plugging in bulbs. IMO
