amp583
I just filled my tank up for the first time...with 87 octane. Whooops. Its a stock 2008 LGT (stock turbo) - what will happen with regular gas? Should i drop in some fuel injector cleaner or octane boosting fluid into the tank?

Pdizzleccc
Have you ever read what that octane booster actually does...something along the lines of 1 octane level for every 10 gallons of gas, so if you were going with 15 gallons of regular 87 octane and wanting to take 15 gallons up to 91 octane it would need 6 bottles of that stuff at like 4 bucks a bottle... Two-Five Sti-L
stay out of boost as much as possible to avoid engine knock. one tank of 87 won't kill you.

srgdrum
Your car is going to blow up. That's truly a shitty thing to say to a new guy on here. He wanted some information and you give dis-information. Go on over to Nasioc where you belong.

Spec B
I used some octane booster when they accidentally filled my tankwith regular...not sure if it made a difference though..
Umass94
My wife has done that to me/my car on a few occasions....nothing happened, slightly less power is all. Here's proof: Just 1 minute after buying my OBXT, I had 7 phone calls from insanely hot women, and got 7 dates out of it. Coincidence? I think not. Tracer-X
Octane booster raises it by 1 point. It takes 10 points to make 1 octane...so it would take 40 bottles to bring it to 91 octane. Jump on it, Let's do it, Ride it, My Pony... EL4NFZT7
