teducci
The moment I removed my winter rims/tires and installed my stock rims with Potenza RE92s, I noticed a severe amount of that I think is road noise. I don 't recal this from last fall but I got spoiled by winter rubber which is softer and the ride is therefore quiet. The car drives straight, no shake, no pull to any side...just road noise. The noise is more noticeable at lower speeds. I got the car new last August (2008) and it now only has 11,000 kms. Could there be anything else? Brakes?...but there is no adverse noise when braking. Could it be bearing or differential? I already rotated the wheels around and confirmed proper torque thinking it could be an uneven tire wear but nope so despite wheel rotation, noise persists. Any ideas / input is welcomed.
Regal05LGT
Maybe the tires on your stock rims are just a little noisier?
