Tune for intake first or injectors?

I am still very noob at tuning. Reading all I can over at RomRaider forums.

Right now my car is Stg2, Perrin TMIC, 3"mid/Y and stock cans, currently just running Cobb ots stg2 map. Will probably switch to opensource soon as I already have tactrix and am trying to learn RomRaider.

Anyway, I have a K&N Typhoon and 650cc DW injectors waiting to be installed (getting ready for VF52 in a few weeks). My question is which part should I do first? I read over on Cobbs basic tuning walk through that it may be better to do injectors before intake but I want all of your opinions on using opensource rather than ST.

Also, as far as scaling the MAF for the intake, on the RR logger I see the tab at the bottom "MAF", is there a walkthrough somewhere on how that can help you to scale correctly?

The stteps are the same regardless of what software you are using.

Setting up the injectors takes literally 5 minutes or less. However, I would tune for the intake and then swap the injectors (Actually I would not install the intake at all :) ).

Good luck and have fun.

I'm with RAO on this one. Put the stock intake on and use the stock intake calibration for starters. This way you know the intake calibration is right so you are just working the injectors to start with. Once you get the injectors dialed in; then you can drop the other intake on and tune for it.
Let's kick this pig!
