Daedalus
I've noticed that of the catted downpipes available, that there are differences in where the single cat is located. Some are located in the upper (shorty) section where others (like the Cobb I believe) are located in the lower section. Is there a benefit or difference as to where they are located? Isn't the O2 sensor located in the lower section and therefore wouldn't putting the cat there give better readings and therefore less of a change of a cat inefficency CEL? Also, is it possible to get a catted dp coated by someone like Crucial or Grimmspeed?
Merc6
I didn't get a cel for my cat but I also did a oddball setup. Car came with Stromung uncatted downpipe front section so I just added a Perrin catted downpipe rear section to have 1 for NoVa inspection. doesn't look pretty but at the time the rear half sold for less than $100 new. 2005 Satin White Pearl Subaru Legacy 2.5 GT Unlimited 5EAT (Project Car) 2019 Agate Black Ford Explorer XLT 4WD (DD)
