Pic of my rear rotor.

I want to replace the rear pads and rotor. it's not completely shot, but i have the cash right now to do something and i want to stop a little better. i am flushing the fluid too (45k never done) because i feel like things just are not working as they should. the fronts are still in A-OK shape soo that leaves the fluid and rears.

i have a set of brake swap slotted rotors with Hawk HPS pads on the front. i like them, they are a little noisy ( hum) but they stop well and work even better when driving spirited and a little heavy on the brakes...

now i know the rear pads only account for a small percent in overall stopping effectiveness so is it worth it to upgraded to slotted rears with the HPS combo like my fronts?? if its just a SLIGHT difference for the average street driver who once in a while lets it loose on some mountain roads then i'll most likely stick with a set of premium Raybestos stuff

any thoughts

you see any strange glazing that would hinder braking??

well living in the rust belt does wonders to vehicles!!

i'm going to order a set of slotted/ coated rotors from brakeswap with HPS pads. for 186 shipped for everything, i can't find a set of good stuff locally for a better price.

Thanks for the opportunity to win your business :)

FYI: Rotors dont get glazed, only pads. Your rear rotor looks "normal". Just that the pad probably started to not be consistent so you have different wear patterns.
