rtbrjason
Yeah, these came off very easy. What grit sand paper did you use? I think 400, but it took longer than it should have.. 220-320 should work a bit faster.. One of those green scrubby pads will work too..
JaeGT
welp. i finally did it! thanks jason for the helpful advices. sorry im a picture whore for this one since im so psyked i didnt break anything. xP the red arrow points to what jason was talking about getting a flat head and prying first. then just worked around it. first cover (felt like it) took eternity to get off since i was so scared... the 2nd one just took 10 seconds... lol. i was pretty impatient... so i did 3 coats semi-gloss black (waited 5-10mins in between), then another 2 coats. then waited 90 mins and did 3 clear coats (5-10mins btw). waited an hour. then took my blow dryer and used it on the covers for couple minutes. then put them back on the car. watcha think? rtbrjason
Do you perhaps have any pics not so close up? Maybe 10-15 ft away? I'd love to see what the fogs look like from that distance. They look great, just want a further away view. Definitely on my list of things to get done.

About to do this on my 09 i used semi-gloss black paint. then clear coat. so far they've held up. my car ended up being DGM/black theme. i forgot to black out my headlights when i cleared them. i dont feel like rebaking them. painting your fog surroundings should be cake.
