Even Nissan is getting into the wagon biz

Recommended Posts

From WCF:

The Nissan GT-R has already received rave reviews from just about everyone but those looking for a more family friendly version have been left waiting for the long rumored GT-R sedan to make its debut. Well it appears someone finally got tired of waiting and ended up creating what could be the world's first GT-R wagon.

Wearing a GT-R front end, the Nissan Stagea wagon boasts an aggressive appearance that would make drivers of the BMW M5 Touring and Mercedes E63 AMG Wagon think twice about passing. Built by Japan's Kids Heart tuning company the GT-R Stagea features a reduced ride height, big matte black wheels with bright accents, and a GT-R inspired rear bumper with quad exhaust tips.

Although we cannot be certain if the wagon features the GT-R's 3.8-liter twin turbo V6 engine with 480 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque, it has more than enough style to get by on its unique looks.

Stagea wagon? With the almighty Attessa AWD? Oh yeah....

Any JDM wagon nerd knows what this is. They've been around for a long time in Japan.

I do love this new "GT-R" concept though... the look works well.

Cool as well.

That is a lot better looking than the stock M35 Stagea.... which is kinda ugly as sin!

This GT-R version gets sexier every time I look at it. Maybe we can pool our resources together and build one over here!

Interesting but the curves of the front don't go with the sharper angles of the back. I think the shorter and less sloping nose of something like an Evo X would look better. Nissubishi Stagevo perhaps? Even the R33(?)/Volvo chop looks better.

mitsu already has their own evo wagons

This very well could be my LGT replacement should they ever sell it here on this side of the globe.... Doubt it though, but there is always hope...
