KenyDat
I've just acquired my 1st Subaru. Its a used Subaru Legacy BH5 2002 model (TX-S) manual. Is the digital clock, odometer and trip meter supposed to remain on even after switching off the car and removing the key? Did not come with owners manual
jonklein611
If it's like any other subaru I've driven, once you take the key to the off position, then all power goes off.
KenyDat
Jonklein611 Thank you for your response. I think the 1st owner tempered with wiring. I'll have a look or seek help.
jonklein611
I'll check the family's forester, as it's newer (03), and see what it does with the key off...
987687
I thought it was supposed to stay on... but I haven't been in one with a digital display in a while. So I don't remember.
jonklein611
The clock stays on, I think you need the key in to get the odometer. Don't quote me on that...
