Does anyone know if the music they use for these commercials is Subaru specific or was it lifted from something else? Cause I like it and want to track down the group if it is 'real' music. -Allen
username
craig armstrong does the song 'finding beauty' (the slower string based song used in the wagon commercials) craig has worked with massive attack in the past (shouldn't be hard to find) and 'Gymnopédie '99' from the erik satie tribute lp 'Electric Satie' by Mitsuto Suzuki is the faster piano track (available in japan only) used in the B4 commercials the B4 commercial music was put out as a single with a Subaru B4 on the cd cover http://www.konami.co.jp/kme/release/030827.html both are/were commercially available and neither was specifically written for Subaru

akm3
Username you are the obscure Legacy info God. I second that, I want the CD where do I obtain it? -Allen P.S. Oh Hey PPower is here too, the whole gangs here!! Lets get to talking about the bumper! (J/K!!!!!)
akm3
I found a link at Tower Japan that sells the CD (only 1000 Yen!!) BUUUUUUT, they won't deliver outside of Japan. Fricken JDM alwasy keeping the cool stuff for themselves  Edit: Okay, it looks like they might ship outside of Japan afterall, but I can't read enough Japanese to figure out why I can't register (it is telling me to please enter something, but I don't know what the something is) Contacting a Japanese Export/Import company that usually sells Home Theater projectors to see if they'll buy and ship me the CD :)

Dr. Zevil
There seem to be a lot of NASIOC defectee's. Good to see everyone made it
AMT4SWA
Reading this post has made me think of a new thread to start...thanx all! BTW, cool commercial with seductive music. :)
akm3
OK I found a company that will import the CD buuuuuut, they have a minimum 4000 yen fee when the item is less then 80,000 yen. Since the CD is 1000 yen (10 bucks) I would have to pay $50 to buy this CD :P I'm checking if I can add other CD's into the 4000 yen minimum OR if it is PER item minimum. If it is bundleable, can anyone recommend any other Subaru CD's I should pick up while I'm shopping in Japan? :)
PPower
hmm, so w/ 15 people and exchange rate of 106 yen, that's $12 each plus shipping to each individual. Was that price delivered to you? Group buy? 1 person = $47 5 people = $17.00 10 people = $13.20 15 people = $11.95 20 people = $11.30 Looks like you're doing good with at least 10 people on board. akm3
Duh I didn't even think about that! lol. Once you get past 80,000 yen the 'fee' will scale, but up to $800 (at $10 a cd) it will be a flat $40 fee. When I asked him about one cd he initially said "pay pal $50" so I think he was just throwing in shipping (since he is making FORTY DAMN DOLLARS TO BUY A CD :) If I start increasing volume there may be an increase in shipping, but it wouldn't be much. Also, there would be shipping to the individuals (Again not too much). Is there interest in this? It is like a 3 song single CD. *I* want one but I am a complete raving mad lunatic. -Allen edit: Supply might be an issue too, the place had it on a "1000 Yen special" which to me means closeout. PPower
Probably not closeout. It's probably special because it only has about 3 songs. I bet it wouldn't be too hard to get 15 people. If you figure NASIOC and here plus Edmunds.com people. Maybe Patti could see if anybody from SoA wants one at the office. Heck, 20 may not be a problem.
