Excellent, I will shoot them a call tomorrow.

If you do decide to order, go to tacomaworld.com and find the HID retrofit group deal thread. You have to use their discount code and order online, but you get a good discount. It was 15% when I ordered, but then went to 25% later. May be back to 15% now. IDK.

Hey, Pat! When I had the DDM HIDs, I remember I installed them without drilling the caps. Basically, I just rewired through a grommet somewhere beneath where the cap would be. Are the Raptors/ApexCones that different than the DDMs that drilling the caps is necessary?

Edit: for the record, the DDMs have worked fine for me for the ~4 years I had them. I just wanted to try the Toshiba HIRs and gave my kit to a friend. Now, I'm kinda missing the light output of the HIDs

You can do the same wiring setup as in the past, I was just was lazy and went through the cap.

55W (+ $10), H7 bulbs, 4500K with harness (+ $15) = $60 + shipping.

Point to you, good sir...I forgot about the harness (recommended for sure!).

And that reminded me that I needed to buy my 3rd set of DDM HIDs...this one a 35w 3000K 880 setup for my aftermarket foglights. Now $55 lighter, I have fog light HIDs on the way...
