bdickey058
i have a turbosmart bov that is off a 05 sti. i thought the flange might be the same but its not. Now can i just get a universal bov flange from say blitz or whatever and weld it on to the turbosmart bov???? any suggestions.

bdickey058
Its from a sti i believe, it wont fit, it does not have a rounded top and bottom like ours have. It's f"ed up and it makes me mad.

bdickey058
Huh? i guess i'm not understanding since i'm pretty new with this whole car thing. are you talking about the hole that is left when you take the bov off? like the stock one? AWDxBOOST
alright, the big hole in the middle with the rubber grommit around it, place the flange so that it is concentric around the hole in the IC where the air would come thru... Then mark where the bolt holes need to be for it to bolt up to the stock ic.  Then drill holes for the bolts so itll bolt up. MTS turbo used to make em before he stopped his business...i cant take pics of mine because im not at home at the moment
bdickey058
oh ok, Ummm i don thave that rubber gasket lol. so what do i do w/out that rubber gasket. Does the stock bov have one?
AWDxBOOST
i didnt use the rubber gasket, i just used a lil of this http://www.drillspot.com/pimages/1460/146047_300.jpg mines a metal on metal contact, but it should still work on the stock plastic tmic. just make sure you let it dry all the way before driving and dont get any in the ic itself the stocker has a gasket which you may be able to reuse, but it prolly wont sit in there right
