theflystyle
as title states. what are your thoughts on dealing with spilt gas while removing the nozzle during fillup. i got a little bit on the paint when pulling out and i when to the trunk and got a microfiber cloth and a instant spritz bottle (wolfgang) and cleaned it up. the car was recently wash, clayed, sealed, waxed and i wonder what the damage could be. i am just imagining my 94 legacys damage in the same spot and begin to worry. PeterJMC
What happend to your '94? Just wipe it up and it will be fine. I've spilled mine plenty of times without any problems. I usually grab a paper towel from the towel dispenser and as I'm removing the nozzel I use the paper towel to catch any drops.

Stang70Fastback
Or just tap the thing out, tip it up as you remove it, and don't spill any? Lol. That's what I do.
