Whitedeon8 Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 Hi everyone - My name is Phil and I have a possible issue. I have an 05 LGT with 50,000 miles. I recently got a #4 misfire code, yet when I took it to a shop the computer said it was fine. They even took it for a drive and everything seemed ok. For kicks they switched the coil pack out with another one and for now the check engine light has gone off. Perhaps unrelated, but I seem to be hearing my turbo more. Maybe it's because I always have my radio turned up, but at times I can actually hear a swishing. Is this normal for a bone stock LGT? The strangest noise I have been hearing seems to be at random. Coming home I was going 70 and I hear from the dash almost a digital interference type sound. Very hard to describe... but basically if you turn to a channel and hear a digital interference. Not sure if this makes any sense, but of course I always think worst case scenario. I am hoping this is normal. If I can explain anything, please let me know. Thanks! Phil
Gatvol Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 Seems you have answered your question on the problem. Yes probably coil pack. You may want to replace the wires and plugs when u replace the coil pack.
