pachilla
I am finally fed up with those Yokohama Geolander G900s after 15 months and 11,000 miles. So on new years day I have them swapped out for a set of 19x8 inch (offset 40mm) wheels and 225/45WR19 Bridgestone Potenza RE050A tires and I am now much happier. And surprisingly the high performance summer 45series RE050A is quieter than all season 55 series G900s and the ride quality is only slightly effected like when driving over the expansion joints. http://img212.imageshack.us/img212/8395/39780035iw0.jpg http://img383.imageshack.us/img383/8370/59381105oe0.jpg http://img60.imageshack.us/img60/669/44586136kf7.jpg http://img377.imageshack.us/img377/5563/87018309ps0.jpg http://img368.imageshack.us/img368/9195/28977234gp2.jpg

tytek
Nice rims, but look out of place on an Outback with its high suspension - with a drop it would look sexier.
Gire
I love it.... looks like a sexy tank. With the smooth all-grey exterior I'd clear the headlights and take off the blue fog film, but I'm a sucker for all grey / chrome appearance. Are you in China? pachilla
Nice rims, but look out of place on an Outback with its high suspension - with a drop it would look sexier. The Outback Euro-spec came with self-leveling rear suspension, so dropping it requires both new springs and new rear shocks. I am still thinking about dropping it because in Taiwan high ground clearance is a major bonus due to the @#$%^ roads we have here.

The headlight is already cleared by the factory (but with amber light bulb) I have light smoke Lamin-X films on the headlight for protection but for the fog lamps the Lamin-X dealers sent me the blue one by mistake. But I kinda like it because it made the fog lamp HID like when turned on to match the factory HID headlamps I am in Taiwan, the "Republic of China" with a democratic government lol. The Mainland Chinese (from People's Republic of China) also gets the identical Euro-spec Outbacks like mine and they all came straight from Japan. Do you speak Mandarin over there, or another dialect? I guess Google can tell me that. The clear headlights with amber bulb look better in person, but photograph pretty amber for some reason. I too have clear headlights with amber bulb installed (to keep the cops at bay). Regardless, welcome and enjoy the forum!

Yes, the official language is Mandarin but there is also a local dialect that is widely spoken and understood (except for myself, Mandarin only:p) Except for the first picture the rest of the photographs posted were taken at a busy street so I had turned on the flashing amber lights just to be safe which explained the bright amber you mentioned. pachilla
looks real good if dropped from that photochop!!! but i wished it would drop even lower! That would probably cause some fender rub, Since Outback Fender Flares are for show only. And I my wheels have 40mm offset vs 48mm for the stock wheels. TimGinCentralNJ
Nice! You guys are lucky since the rear bumper already comes with the exhaust cut-outs too... Really?? Is that an '08-'09 OB thing, or a non-U.S. model thing? I've been aching to look into different exhaust and doing the rear bumper cut-outs, but even aside from the $$$ I am also a chicken-sh_t about cutting my bumper Tim

I have 19x8s and I'm planning on 235/35/19, but I want to make sure I won't have too much of a rub issue before I get tires.
