Queue
I have 56,000 miles and just had to replace the fuel lines and the intake gaskets. I live in a cold climate (MN). Is this normal? Are there any precautions I can take to reduce the chances of it happing again?
RochNY91TSI
The question is, why did you have to replace them? What was wrong with them?

Queue
The question is, why did you have to replace them? What was wrong with them? I started smelling gas at an idle. It was very cold (the car sat out for 10 hours). I drove it to the Subaru dealer and they informed me that the lines were leaking. It seems very odd to me. RochNY91TSI
Doesn't really make sense. They shouldn't have rusted in a few years and if there were some other (factory) issue, I would think it would have appeared before now. Have you ever been in an accident with this car, or ran over anything?
