Did this so i could get the boxer rumble and easily swap back to stock if need be. bought these years ago but just installed them. Sure just a straight pipe would sound the same there faux mufflers by design anyway.

Shot a little video of my exhaust today. Should have left the enclosed back door on my Hero 3. Will certainly try again but not bad.

Ill say this, the Cobb exhaust was supposed to be around 95-97 DB if I remember correctly.

People said the autospeed was pretty loud.

I have had the autospeed and now I have the cobb and the Cobb is louder.

They are real similar in sound almost identical but the autospeed had a resonator in the midpipe that toned it down a bit.

If you go open DP, it's pretty damn loud.

i think straight pipe could be louder. just make some 5" tips for it.

open dp is too obnoxious inside the car since it's right underneath you.

I have a 3" catted DP and the Autospeed catback. I do not think the Autospeed is loud at all. There is a nice tone when cruising and only slightly louder when getting on it. There is no drone at all while driving either. The only problem I have is with fitment not being as perfect as I would like. I used some hose clamps on the mounts to get it a but closer to where I like it though.

I have a full MillTek sports cats and quad tip muffler system - quite popular in the UK for JDM twin scroll 2.0GTs. Designed for Litchfield I believe. They do an upgrade pack of the exhaust, a performance filter and an EcuTek map...

My soon to be ex-exhaust. Going with an Invidia Q300 now.

This is just Cat-back.

Link to second video is in the description and on video.

Was next to a highway so that's why you hear a constant wind like sound.

Quite popular here for many vehicles including Imprezas and BRZ - but I guess with MillTek being a UK company they would be more likely to be available here...

Just checked their website - No Legacy stuff listed, even Litchfield Imports don't seem to list anything for the Legacy anymore  David Hendry cars in Wiltshire still do though... http://dhcars.co.uk/subaru-legacy.php

I tired getting the milltek stuff before for mine and it isn't being made anymore. No demand for it i was told. My Milltek DP is impreza fitment, so needed a bit of custom piping to work with the rest of my exhaust setup
