Mike_Hawk
I'm looking to get a set of 17" OEM/stock Legacy GT wheels/rims. Something 2005-2009 I believe, in great condition. Anyone have some laying around? I need a spare set of wheels for all-weather and snow tires. I don't think my RE050A's will hang when it snows or rains really bad (it can snow where I work and I'm going to go to Big Bear Mtn often). Denver133
I do have my 08 Spec B wheels here locally sitting in my storage for sale. That way you can keep the same look year around.
seanlsb
So I'm looking at your locale... I'm in SD too - fairly new here - and I think there isn't a whole lot of snow here. Something I've missed?
Denver133
If you go up towards Julian and that area, there is plenty of snow. Also Big Bear got over 2 feet of snow in this little rain storm we had. I live downtown and never go that way to my Re050s are fine.

Something I've missed? There isn't really, but I work east in the mountains by Campo. Snow is possible there and it was actually snowing very lightly a few days ago. I'll also use them to go to Big Bear Mountain when I go snowboarding.

How much would you sell them for? I was avoiding using spec B's because of the very limited tire selection, but if the price is right and I can't find anything better, I'll compromise. I do like how it looks.

Mike_Hawk
So I'm looking at your locale... I'm in SD too - fairly new here - and I think there isn't a whole lot of snow here. Something I've missed? Here you go, took these pictures for you. This was taken near the Golden Acorn Casino and Jacumba/Boulevard. This was during the next 2 days after this thread was started The first snowfall actually started early morning of the 17th. Coincidence! http://www.mustangmods.com/ims/u/408/10999/267594.jpghttp://www.mustangmods.com/ims/u/408/10999/267595.jpg The 2nd picture was taken through the top of my windshield, hence the blue tint. Looks nice though.
Mike_Hawk
I've decided to just swap out tires with all-seasons (Nokian WR G2's) instead of using a dedicated winter/snow tire, so I won't be needing a spare set of wheels at this time. Thanks for the help!
seanlsb
Here you go, took these pictures for you. Thinkin of me? How sweet. Back in Ohio now - remembering why I moved.

Thanks for the help! Good call...I was actually planning the same thing. Can't swap wheels/tires due to lack of storage. From what I've seen the Nokian WR seems to be the best fit for something reliable to handle snow...yet still be good for dry conditions. Wakegen tire in Illinois has a good deal. Discount tire told me they'd take my stock tires and install the Nokians for no charge.
