Heres the final result. I had to cut into the dash alot to make it work, but I was able to clean up alot of the cut areas with some plastic trim from tap plastics afterwards. I also managed to keep the cubby door working so I can flip it up or down to get to my memory card.

thanks, I ran a car charger with a elbow adapter behind the radio and under the center console to the cig outlet in the armrest keeping the wires all hidden. It worked pretty good, just had to pull apart my center console area and radio area to get it all to work. I guess its a feature with garmin when the unit gets power it automatically starts up and when the unit loses power it automatically turns off. This worked out nice since whenever i turn my key off or on when i get in the car the unit does the same. I also had to run a elbow adapter so my aux audio output wouldnt hang up when the door opens since I wanted it to play my mp3s also and use the bluetooth feature with it through the speakers.
