Installing heated seats?

I've got a 2009 2.5i SE and I've been thinking that heated seats that some of the higher end Legacies come with sound tempting. I assumed that I'd have to have heating elements installed in the seats and then install a switch to activate them, but I've found several threads that claim that the seats come with the heating elements already installed and we just need to buy the switch to activate them.

That thread is over 2 years old and I couldn't find a definitive answer to the question from back then.... besides, I don't know if things would have changed anyway. Does anyone know if my car would just need to the switch installed to add the heated seat feature?
