Vert1go1
I'm picking up a 2007 spec B in a few days, and I want to get a spare set of wheels and tires for winter ordered. I would prefer to have 17" winter wheels/tires instead of the stock 18". Can anyone confirm for certain that 17"s will clear the front brakes on the 07 specB? I'd be shocked if they didn't, as most will clear the 4pot brembos on the STi... Any help is greatly appreciated. Dave
F-WDC Spec B
i have 17s on mine for my winter set up. The brakes are the same brakes for the regular LGT so there is no touble.
Vert1go1
Excellent, exactly what I was hoping, someone with an '07 specB!! =) Can you tell me what tire size you are running? Did you attempt to maintain the same outer diameter when you downsized to the 17"s? Dave
F-WDC Spec B
yes i did. I am running 225/45/17. If you look at this thread its very informative. Since you have stock 18s the closest 18 would be a 225/40/18 which is similar to stock rotational diameter and my tire size is the closest to that. http://www.legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4426
