gershon
Thanks for the photos. I think I would like that better than the OEM key remote. So you had a key remote that you took the insides out of or just the stand alone remote? Also for anyone that would like to know what the inside of the square key remote looks like here you go. http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h163/gershon23/CIMG2396.jpg http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h163/gershon23/CIMG2397.jpg
Meltdown07
Questions: 1. Where is your panic button in the one you made? 2. Is the key model that you ordered the GiES600H or the GiES600K? They both look very similar. Can you please verify? I plan to follow in your footsteps. Go Cardinals!
DocHolladay23
GiES600H is the model I got, here's a pic of the back (the circle with the 2 screws close together is where the Hyundai logo is supposed to go): [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] You want stickers? Meltdown07
how did you make the key flip.... You press the silver button in the upper left. Same as VW/Audi key design. Go Cardinals!
g2redgsr
i meant is it a different key?
ProjectSega
i meant is it a different key? I think he said he had to hack his key and modify it. I believe the key and flip module has a pin that you can pull out to change the key itself. Hope that made sense and please correct me if I'm wrong. I believe you can easily remove it.

Only thing is panic button seems slightly wider...http://image05.webshots.com/5/9/59/49/61295949xNTxWA_fs.jpg Real good chance (if the 08 keys work for 05-07) we could just get the Honda Flip key shell. zmarko
Very cool. Might give this a try after others have and posted their results.  What I'm a little unclear on, is did you need to pull out the circuit board of the fob and re-fit it to the new fob? Did the buttons match up exactly? Any soldering involved?  I don't expect pics, but if you have time, do you think you could do a brief writeup? Any added info is greatly appreciated. starhm
where is the transponder in the key? how easy is it to remove without damaging? i might pay the 100 just to have you give this another whirl with pics...
DocHolladay23
Here are some pics of the inside. First and second are the insides of the OEM remote modified to work, third is the original key that came with the remote (stupid lady that cut it f*cked it up cutting it so it doesn't work), and fourth is where I put the transponder (that's the back piece above the panic button) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] You want stickers?
