Oban is well up there in my favourite placees, probably found that love for it as its so close to Mull and has always been one of the places I have had to pass through to get there.

So far my experience with the Outback has been good (apart from perhaps the brakes are not quite what they need to be :iam:).

Outbacks or even normal Legacys are not very popular in the Scotland or even the UK at large. The new diesel will more than likely change this and would have been my preferred choice especially if I hadn't driven the 3.0 the dealer had available the dayI was there. Otherwise I am sure I would have had the diesel but having driven diesels for anumber of years to get back to a 6 that sings won the day. Thus the cars rarity here matched with the performance and a requirement for a car that has very easy access ie not too low and good boot(trunk) size for the dog made the choice easy.
