oog61 Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 My commute takes me some distance from the AM radio station I listen to in the morning but until recently the signal was pretty clear, with significant static only in certain spots near power lines, etc. Recently the static has become noticeably worse. By accident, I found that the static goes away almost completely if I switch on either seat heater. Once the seat warms and the thermostat cuts off, the static returns. I can't find any other electrical item that, when turned on, reduces the radio static. I'm sure there's a logical reason for this. Can someone explain it? Thanks.
erikvcl Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 I believe there was a TSB on this issue. http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=97214 See the last post.
