KYB states it is 10-15% firmer than stock, we'll see. http://i553.photobucket.com/albums/jj362/deunan07/shock.jpg Probably put same KYB GR-2 shocks on rear but with Rallitek HD rear springs, soon. SiL Outback LTD
@ AJUSA.com or 800-877-1911. Donno on ride b/c it's still in box. I need new tires soon, i'll install it then. Got lazy too So on the site there are two parts listed for the outback shocks and struts that I see. 1) shock absorber for $49 and 2) the strut assembly for $57 So I have some maybe stupid questions, even more so because I had a set of KYB's on my impreza. But I bought them as a set with springs mounted and didn't have to order anything myself. What would I need to order here, 4 of each? Is this just for the front? Learn me a thing or two about how the outback suspension is set up, any help would be nice. I don't want to lower it at any point, I tossed that idea around but after getting on some logging roads I just want to improve the ruggedness, maybe pull a jetski next summer and call it good. Thanks for the help, love the work on the XT so far, keep it up. +10 for keeping fresh blood in her.
Deunan
One is for Front and other for Rear. I donno about front but rear is sold out for few more weeks, give them a call. So, I finally installed by GR-2 shocks today at the stealership, with 60k service, injector cleaned, ATF service, Brake fluid, new rear brake pad, Super Coolant premixed, new Drive belts, new spark plugs, alignment, rotate tires. Damn $1,270. Engine is alot firmer maybe b/c of new belts.
