kirbwrx Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 Are these good rotors? I think my wifes LGT wagon needs new rears and saw these and how cheap they were and was thinking about getting them. Just want to be sure they are not any worse than the stockers.
spect2k Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 I've used them in the past. I had the slotted centric rotors. They were great - just what you'd expect from a rotor.
Saul_Good Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 Good rotor for the price. I've used mine in a few DE's and they are fine.
gryffinwings Posted October 12, 2008 Posted October 12, 2008 The pads aren't bad, I use the Premium Semi-Metallic, but they are the best. I was going down a mountain using just the brakes, to test them, and they were smoking half way down, but this is a mountain with a lot of hair pins, if curious, this was Palomar Mountain in Southern California - South Grade. I plan to upgrade to Hawk HPS.
spect2k Posted October 12, 2008 Posted October 12, 2008 I've never used the pads, I too will be going with the HPS when i'm due.
Mines Posted October 12, 2008 Posted October 12, 2008 centric have good durable rotors, especially their premium versions. ....did you know centric owns stoptech?
